2009's first slip

ok, so i lost a week of blogging. resisting urge to bulletpoint list. probably going to end up just like a list except without line breaks.

worked on one internship application and felt stupidly good about it. still need to finish it and finish a bunch of others.

finished tengen toppa gurren lagann. it went from suck to mediocre to good to mediocre to suck again.

played more brawl. got into the business of extending matches long past their expiration dates. was pleased with results.

finished the things they carried. great book. surprising how much it was about the writer.

attended maya's birthday party. around half composed of ab alumni and half composed of her umass friends. as for my opinion on them, discretion was the better part of valor. saw alex kazberouk there, which was cool.

watched my sister's piano recital. the overall playing quality seems to have improved. i detected less technical mistakes, though most players' pedaling seemed a bit off.

ate at the china buffet in lowell. nice joint.

shoveled snow. seems to be a big part of this winter break.
