is it seriously october already? the other day, i dated my paper '9/28/08.' maybe i'll get used to writing 09 on my papers when it's 2011 and... wow, i might not even be dating papers by then. let's not think about that.
classes are rough. not having a crew to back me up in four of the five classes blows. i've been relying on office hours and attempting pitifully to get early starts. so far that's translated into at least three wednesday nights in a row staying up past 3 a.m.
but it's been a good semester so far. the definitive characteristic, aside from this vague sense of drowning in classes, has probably been the whole fitness thing. other than that, it's been the usual. turning twenty, desperately needing new clothes, eating, procrastinating on anything involving real life, following multiple tv series, wishing jack bauer were back.
three prelims next week, and i need to get my ass in gear for research. let's do this.
