been helping my mom edit some stuff so she can launch a website on acupuncture since i got home.
the ride home i feel is worth mentioning. student agencies apparently overbooked their bus, and i nearly didn't get on the bus. as it was, i had to spent the vast majority of the trip without my travel buddy. i sat in cramped quarters at the very back next to an extremely androgynous individual whom i never heard speak. i always assume that it's a guy unless other evidence suggests otherwise, though. after the first stop, the androgynous dude left and i brought my favorite chica on board.
the last few weeks have been pretty good, all things considered. i dropped the graduate-level astrophysics class because i was getting my ass kicked, and the drop deadline seemed to come way too soon. test season descended, and i realized with a hint of dismay that i was going to crush the econ class i chose to take pass/fail. i've got the highest grade in the class bar none at the moment, and i could definitely use the boost to my gpa at this point. ugh. summa cum laude might be out of reach now. i need at least four a+'s and everything else at least an a, i think. probably not gonna happen.
feel like i'm more at ease socially this semester by a lot. we're not extremely close or anything, but i'm in a group where i basically fit in. i get my problem sets done mostly without having to touch them at my house.
haven't met with any of the ab crew on break except anandh, briefly. seeing him again later this week, i guess.
